Planning Kylie’s First Birthday!

My Inspiration: (Compliments to Jan O'Hara and Kohl's)

Cupcake Cake for Kylie with flowers and stuff to make it more special than the little cupcakes
About 2 dozen Cupcakes for guests (½ chocolate ½ vanilla)
Cupcake filling and filler (maybe)
Pink Brown and White Cupcake Liners (preferably stripped)
Cupcake Tree Holder
Cutouts and icing
Cupcake Cookie Cutters (maybe 3 different sizes)
Cupcake Invitations (9)
Napkins
Cups
Plates
Table Liner
Cupcake Balloon
Pink and Brown and White Balloons
Pink and Brown and White Streamers
Favors: Cupcake mix in jars
~Simply buy boxes of cake mix, shredded coconut, chocolate chip morsels and mason jars. Then divide your cake mix into 3rds and layer the remaining ingredients into your jars! You can then attach baking instructions to the backs of your party favor tags!
*Making 9 jars…buy: 9 mason jars, 6 boxes of cake mix. 2 bag of chocolate chip morsels and something pink for the top (Sprinkles, candies…)

Kylies Birthday Dress

Cupcakes!
What You'll Need:
24 cupcakes
24 pieces of Double Bubble bubble gum
Spool of green thread-covered wire (found at Michael's in the floral section)
Toothpicks
Buttercream frosting (double batch)
Chocolate royal icing
Decorating bags and Wilton tips #3 and #18
Pink icing coloring
Instructions:
Unwrap the bubble gum and roll each piece into a ball. Cut a stem for each cherry out of the covered wire. Use a toothpick to poke a hole in the top of each piece of gum; insert the "stems." Set aside.
Frost 12 of the cupcakes with white buttercream. Tint a portion of the buttercream with just a tiny bit of the pink icing coloring; frost the remaining cupcakes pink. (I mean, literally, add the coloring a speck at a time with a toothpick. The pink coloring is very potent and if you add too much you will get a very strong pink). (I’m strongly thinking about doing fondant so they look like the picture)
Fill a decorating bag with royal icing and fit with a #3 tip. Make an outline of the area where you want "chocolate syrup" on your cupcakes. Thin the remaining icing and fill in the chocolate areas. Let harden.
Fill a decorating bag with remaining white frosting and fit with a #18 tip. Pipe a swirl of "whipped cream" in the center of each cupcake.
Top each cupcake with a bubble gum cherry.
Sit back, admire your creations and enjoy! :)
